About Jay Rodgers:
Jay D. Rodgers has been and continues to be active in the formation of entrepreneurial enterprises. His involvement includes vision, funding, strategic planning and exit dealings. Jay has personally founded, grown and sold over twenty ventures such as: Smart Start Inc., now the nation’s largest breath alcohol ignition interlock company which has over 1200 service locations in the U.S. and operates in 6 foreign countries; Physician Staffing Resources, Inc.(PSR), a national emergency medicine physician management company serving over 2000 ER doctors; Healthcare Staff Resources, Inc. (HSR), providing healthcare facilities nationally with healthcare professionals; and Ranchland, Inc., a corporate outing and convention ranch destination. Tri-C Business Forms and Family Staffing Solutions are also among the companies he founded. His most recent start-up is Track What Matters (dba Rhino Fleet Tracking), a GPS monitoring and tracking company. Track What Matters sold January 2, 2020 for $25 Million cash at closing to a multi-billion dollar Capital Partners Fund. Jay spent eight years with Eastman Kodak before venturing out on his own. In 1993, he completed the three-year Owners & Presidents Management (OPM) Program at Harvard. He has served as a guest lecturer at SMU’s Caruth Institute of Entrepreneurship. In addition to being the visionary and founder of Biz Owners Ed, Jay continues to devote a great deal of his personal time to mentoring committed entrepreneurs.
